Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice - Official Teaser Trailer

    In Theaters March 25, 2016...

DC Entertainment has released the official teaser trailer for Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, in theaters March 25, 2016. The problem? The trailer was prematurely leaked on Thursday (4-16) - the same day Disney officially unleashed worldwide their second trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens. It was like trying to get people to watch a movie on Super Bowl Sunday. Granted, the leaked trailer was pirated footage, but it didn't appear DC worked that hard on having it removed - it was pretty easy to find. I think it was all a test of "Hey, it's leaked! Let's keep it circulated so it goes viral!" Well, that plan seriously backfired in the face of Star Wars.

For the record, I think Batman v Superman shows potential and I'm pleased to see DC go the route of Marvel with multi-superhero movies. But DC's group hero flicks aren't here yet, meaning they haven't proven themselves in the public eye. Avengers level hype they are not. And Star Wars? That's simply a battle neither superhero franchise can compete with.
