    TF15: SD Toys

    The Godfather, Mazinger, More...

Spanish toy maker SD Toys made their Toy Fair debut this year. A division of SD Distribuciones, Spain's #1 provider of fun pop culture collectibles, SD Toys impressed attendees with hot licensed product from Big Bang Theroy, DC Comics and more.

Shown fully painted for the first time was their upcoming figure of Marlon Brando as The Godfather. Seated in his chair, the realistically sculpted figure of the well-known movie mob boss is due out this year. SD Toys is working hard to get U.S. distribution approved.

One license on display that will see U.S. release is SD Toys' Mazinger action figures. To be distributed by Bluefin, fans can look forward to a 7" Mazinger Z and Aphrodite A, both priced at a MSRP of $39.99 (read our review HERE). A 12" Mazinger Z vinyl figure, as well as a Mazinger silicon tray will also see U.S. release.

Other items on display included SD Toys' fun new blocky toy line called Pixels, DC Comics Super Dough sets, and a brand new license: Cthulhu. Shown was cool knitted wear and we even got a sneak peek at an upcoming Cthulhu action figure! Details to be announced...
