DC Unlimited continues to tap the popularity of video games with the announcement of two new titles: Heavenly Sword and Twisted Metal PS3.

Heavenly Sword, exclusive to the PlayStation 3, will receive an action figure of the game’s starring heroine: NARIKO (pictured above). The fierce red-haired warrior will come armed with the "Heavenly Sword", a god's blade of immense power.

Coming in 2010 is Twisted Metal PS3, the latest game in the vehicular combat series exclusive to, you guessed it, the PlayStation 3. Fans will be treated to an action figure of SWEET TOOTH, the psychotic clown who has become a perennial contestant in the game’s deadly races.

Both new figures go on sale July 28, 2010.

In other video game action figure news, DC Unlimited’s World of Warcraft Premium Series 2 (https://www.figures.com/databases/action.cgi?setup_file=fignews2.setup&category=actionfigures&topic=62&show_article=29) and Standard Series 6 (https://www.figures.com/databases/action.cgi?setup_file=fignews2.setup&category=actionfigures&topic=62&show_article=30) have new release dates. The Premium figures - Gnome Warlock: Valdremar with Voidwalker Voyd and Orc Warchief: Thrall - are now scheduled to arrive July 7, 2010. Series 6, featuring Dwarven King: Magni Bronzebeard, Forsaken Queen: Sylvanas Windrunner, and Goblin Tinker: Gibzz Sparklighter are now due out July 14, 2010. These figures were originally solicited for release in March, 2010.

I have been waiting YEARS (literally!) for a Nariko figure - finally finally finally...

Sadly, it looks like there's no leg articulation, so it looks like I'll be a bit limited in how she's posed, but as long as she looks good next to my NECA Ninja Gaiden II Ryu and my Medicom UDF MGS4 Raiden, it'll all be good...

First post here and for a very special reason, I LOVE these two characters and always wanted action figures of them. I never thought it would happen in a million years, There was going to be a TM:Black figure line way back when from a now defunct company. Anyways what I'm trying to say is...
