Earlier this year we announced (https://www.figures.com/databases/action.cgi?setup_file=fignews2.setup&category=actionfigures&topic=87&show_article=36) Playmates Toys' intentions to produce toys based on Terminator and Terminator 2 in 2010. The fate of future Terminator toys depended on the success of Playmates' Terminator: Salvation toy line unleashed last spring.
Asked if these cyborg collectibles were still a go, Adam Key, Product Manager, Boys Division delivered the sad news, "Unfortunately there will be no new releases for Terminator this year. Most retailers are still carrying the spring items, but the line won’t be refreshed. We also will not be moving forward with the T1 and T2 licenses."
