NECA provides more details on their new 7" Conan action figure first revealed at San Diego Comic-Con (http://sdcc09.figures.com/showgallery.php?cat=766). Named Temple of the Serpent Conan the Barbarian, this figure features the famed Cimmerian poised for battle against the Serpent Men and their god Set. Conan comes with his sword and articulation at the neck, wrists, waist and boots.

Temple of the Serpent Conan the Barbarian hits stores later this month.

I've bought every version of NECA's Conan and I'll be buyin' this one too.

But how about some other characters? That wizard dude. And Valeria. And the baddies with the big hammer and the one with the mustache. Conan needs some guys to fight too, ya know

Yeah, own 'em all too and this one is a must-have. The most "classic" Conan to date (War Paint was close, except for the paint). My favorite is still the first Pit Fighter Conan.

I wouldn't say never, as I know NECA loves this license, but I highly doubt we will see any other characters. We get this one like what, a year after the first releases? I consider us lucky. That and I just don't see retail demand for anything but the Govenator.

Well I think there are a ton of people out there who would definitely buy a Thulsa Doom. Dunno if James Earl Jones would want that though...

And yeah, unfortunately it's the mindset of the retailers that seems to be a real obstacle to any other characters getting made. :(

Hey NECA, howsabout some website exclusives?
