The Turtles are packing ancient martial arts weapons, but that doesn't meant you have to. With the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles T-Blasts assortment, you can fire soft-foam darts up to 40 feet away. There's a few different offerings of T-Blasts to choose from, each one packing the same heat, but with different characteristics.

The Double Barrel and Cross Bow Blaster assortment run $9.99 each and hold up to two darts. We'll be looking at Raphael in this review. Michelangelo is the only Turtle that comes as a Cross Bow. Double Barrel comes as Leonardo, Donatello, or Raphael.
Next up is the Quad Blaster Assortment that can hold up to four darts. Priced at $14.99 each, Quad Blasters come as Leonardo, Michelangelo or Raphael.
For ultimate firepower, the Talking Shell Cannon comes with a cartridge that can load six darts and says over 10 Turtle battle phrases and sound effects. This $24.99 blaster comes as Leonardo or Michelangelo.

Packaging for these T-Blasts are similar to other Nickelodeon Turtle product that's already out there on the shelves. You have cardboard packaging with the item fully exposed. No bubble, just a toy that's strapped down. The double barrel weapon holds two Turtle Darts and fires via a pull-back launcher. The trigger is used for selecting which barrel to shoot from. It actually takes some getting used to on memorizing which one you're firing, but kids 4 and up will soon catch on.

The darts themselves are fairly large and shouldn't cause too much harm when fired, but they do have good range. The darts all have their own identity to match the blaster design... it might actually be the closest thing to the cartoon gun in [I]Who Framed Roger Rabbit in toy form if you think about it.

The T-Blasts and other weapons are available now at all major retailers. Ninja Turtles Dart Refill Packs are also available for $6.99 and come in a variety of characters to choose from.
