Todd McFarlane announced today that his company, McFarlane Toys has partnered with the video game powerhouse Respawn Entertainment to produce a line of action figures based on the upcoming game, Titanfall 2, the sequel to 2013's hit first-person-shooter.

McFarlane Toys is well known for delivering top quality figures for the gaming genre including: Halo, Assassin’s Creed and Metal Gear franchises. The upcoming Titanfall figures will be a part of McFarlane’s bold new 2016 Collector Box Program. Each figure will stand seven inches tall, have an average of fifteen points of articulation for incredible poses and play action and feature screen accurate accessories and weapons. The figures will boast the same meticulous level of detail that McFarlane has become known for over the last two decades.

“This is a perfect fit. McFarlane [Toys] was created so I could make cool stuff just like this,” said Todd McFarlane, Owner and CEO of McFarlane Toys. “Without saying too much about the new game… You’re not going to believe where we can take this.”

The McFarlane Toys action figures will be released in conjunction with the highly anticipated launch of Titanfall 2.

McFarlane Toys is exhibiting at International New YorkToy Fair 2016 booth #1041. Stay tuned for our complete coverage!

I will be massively excited if they truly do return to their original bigger scale. I don't think I've bought a McFarlane figure since the last Spawn line got shrunken down. And then they tried to fool us by continuing to claim that their Halo line was in "6 inch scale".

But in spite of the bad taste that whole fiasco left in my mouth, some of the McFarlane figs I bought way back in their old glory days still remain some of my most faves in my entire collection.

Sure hope they can pull this off.

I'll be watching...
