While arguably not as large as The Simpsons, Matt Groening's other animated series - Futurama - still carries with it a very devoted fan base. And where there's fans, collectibles aren't too far behind! Funko continues to tap Futurama's appeal with a second assortment of POP vinyl figures. This Februrary assortment brings collectors the mad scientist Professor Farnsworth, Decapodian doctor Zoidberg, heroic 25-Star General Zapp Brannigan, and everyone's favorite Nibblonian, Nibbler.
Funko experiments with many new figure formats every year, with some sticking around (Pop) and others fading into obscurity (Blox). Debuting in 2015, Dorbz have evidently proven popular enough to become a Funko mainstay. The company is taking many of their licenses and giving them the Dorbz treatment in 2016, including, you guessed it, Futurama. This April look for the core characters Fry, Captain Leela, Doctor Zoidberg and Bender. Not pictured: a gold chase figure of Bender!
