It's The Bomb...

As we reported to you back in July HERE (https://www.figures.com/forums/showthread.php?t=78961), Bethesda dropped a bomb on Fallout fans with the announcement of the Fallout Anthology for PC. While serious gamers have already played many - if not all - of the games provided in this set, the main selling point of the Fallout Anthology bundle is the exclusive packaging it comes in: a Mini Nuke replica. Cast in hard plastic, the huge 13-inch bomb depicts one of the most devastating weapons in the game - a portable nuclear explosive that can be hurled at enemies with a Fat Man launcher. *Kaboom*

The Mini Nuke replica features a nose cap that pops off to reveal storage for the included games. One criticism here is that the cap doesn't lock on - not even with a simple twist locking mechanism - so it can accidentally come off if picked up by the top. It's like a giant plastic Easter egg. Other than that, this is a very cool replica. The paint apps are super realistic with rust and scratches, and the sculpt, while simple, will please passionate Fallout players. A nice bonus is the sound gimmick. By pressing the triangular button on the front that reads "Warning: Keep away from children under 12" (dark Fallout humor for you) the Mini Nuke emits an audible bomb sound followed by the "cha-ching" of experience points racking up. Check out the video below to hear the Mini Nuke replica followed by a video of the Mini Nuke in action in Fallout: New Vegas.

The Fallout Anthology with Mini Nuke packaging is in stores now priced at $49.99. Check out our gallery below for more pics of the Fallout Mini Nuke!
