Over on the Matty Collector forums, new photos of Mattel's upcoming Lion-O figure have been released. The Four Horsemen have tweaked the sculpt on the figure since it was first shown at San Diego Comic-Con last month (see our story HERE (https://www.figures.com/forums/showthread.php?t=78492)). The Four Horsemen commented on the update: "Between the sculpting and paint there were a lot of changes, but we feel like it was well worth it! The figure looks much more animation accurate, and it fits the look of the rest of the figures much better."
Lion-O marks the return of a new line of Thundercat action figures cast in the same scale as Mattel's Master of the Universe figures. The series will launch in July 2016 with Lion-O. Jackalman will follow in August, with Mumm-Ra as a sub-only figure.
