ThreeA Toys reveals that Robo-Hunter will be the second figure in their 1/12th scale 2000AD Collectible Figure Series.
The wry curmudgeon created by John Wagner and Ian Gibson is a cigar-smoking bounty-hunter who tracks down and generally executes renegade robots. He begrudgingly picks up a few unlikely associates along the way. With the aid of his trusty Robo-meter Cutie, a blaster at the ready, and eventually a Cuban cigar bot named Stogie, they get the job done. If there’s one thing Slade has learned, it's never give a robot an even break.
The 6 inch tall Robo-Hunter is a bit of an amalgamation from the comics, bringing in elements and icons ThreeA felt were key to capturing the essence of the character. The figure takes the overall visual look, along with Cutie and his blaster design, from the Verdus storyline. And although Stogie (Slade's robo-cigar) does not appear until much later on, ThreeA couldn't pass up the chance to make it happen.
Robo-Hunter will be available for pre-order from bambalandstore.com on April 30th priced at $50 (Price includes Free Worldwide Shipping).
