If you’re a fan of toys from Japan you’re probably familiar with the term “gashapon” (“capsule,” as in the toy containers from vending machines), and likewise with one the genre’s foremost producers Banpresto, a subsidiary of Bandai Namco. Well, now Bandai is bringing those great toys to the United States in a new program starting this year! At New York Toy Fair 2015 we got to see a pretty nice selection of what’s coming including items from One Piece, Dragon Ball Z, Sailor Moon, Attack on Titan, and more. Bandai is importing three size classes of collectibles which will retail from approximately $15 to $35 depending on size. Notably, most of these items will NOT be blind packaged except for the smallest toys.
