Super Powers 1/10 Statues, New Flash, Arkham Knight, & More...

Kotobukiya had a new booth location and set up at this year’s New York Toy Fair, and it was jam-packed with hot new and upcoming releases from all of their unique properties. In their DC Comics section was a tremendous display of statues including a few brand new reveals for the coming year. Just announced before the show, Kotobukiya is starting up a new line of 1/10 statues based on the old Super Powers action figures. These ARTFX+ statues will not be articulated but bring that classic look and bright colors to your shelf with some additional parts to recreate action features and the like. Superman will be first in August, with Batman, Flash, Green Lantern, Robin, and others to follow. Also in the ARTFX+ line, the Batman New 52 family will get a new member in Jason Todd’s Red Hood, and Kotobukiya will be producing statues based on the Arkham Knight video game!

On the Bishoujo side, this summer’s Zatanna was on display along with artwork for Black Canary (November) and Raven (4th Quarter 2015). Lastly, in the full size ARTFX statue series the next addition will be Flash, and for this special piece the company had Jim Lee do a brand new illustration. The very first rough sculpt based on that was shown in photograph form, but of course the final product will have all of the awesome sculpted and painted detail you’ve come to expect from Kotobukiya!
