Cthulhu Gets Super-Sized In 12 Inch Figure...

Warpo has become a household name in action figures thanks to their Kickstarter and the incredible success of their Legends of Cthulhu retro 3 ¾ inch figure line. We took an up close look at the wave one figures Professor, Cultist, Deep One, and Spawn of Cthulhu (see the review HERE (https://www.figures.com/forums/news/68262-review-warpo-legends-cthulhu.html)) back in December, and now you can find them in specialty stores everywhere thanks to distribution via Diamond. Well, Warpo is not resting. Announced just before the show is an incredible 12 inch Cthulhu, and the Great Old One made the trip to New York Toy Fair 2015 for us to see! Make sure to click on the links above or below for more images of this amazing retro figure with shades of the Rancor. It’s scheduled for release late this year (first at San Diego Comic-Con and then through Diamond for $100) and will feature poseable wings, 9 points of articulation, "gripping hands," and deluxe era-inspired packaging with a new Ken Kelly painting. There will also be some variant versions, though we don’t know yet what they’ll look like. Looking to the future, the guys at Warpo are pursuing a variety of new products including plushes, board games, a possible sci-fi figure line, and even more Lovecraft-related figures. There are no firm announcements on any of that right now, but stay tuned for big things from Warpo coming soon!
