NECA has released a new image showing off the packaging for their upcoming Predator Blade Fighter, a homage to the classic Kenner vehicle from the 1993 Predator toy line. What's neat is how well the modern design captures the nostalgia of the original box art.

When fully assembled, the Blade Fighter is over 2 feet in length and accommodates most 6″- 8″ tall action figures (figures sold separately.)

The Blade Fighte features a hinged cockpit, ball-jointed cannons, spring-loaded projectile, spring-loaded detachable 19″ long blades, and removable wing guns that can be hand held by your Predator action figures. The Blade Fighter also includes areas for extra weapon storage and clips for holding an extra Predator mask.

The Predator Blade Fighter is scheduled for release this December priced at $99.99. Pre-orders are open at many fine retailers, including BigBadToyStore.com (http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=NEC12515&mode=retail).

Nice work!

I salute NECA for the love & respect they continue to show to the old classic 90s line!

edit: LOL, I just noticed that even the font in the tiny company name in the corner is the same. Too cool! :D

It's this attention to detail that keeps NECA at the top of my fave toy companies list.
