Disney is banking big that Baymax will be the crowd-pleasing star of their animated feature film Big Hero 6. The squishy robot character has been seen in every trailer released so far and the abundance of Baymax toys in stores assures every child will have the opportunity to own the "Big Hero" this holiday season. Despite Disney's intentions, my attention is firmly on Fred. Part of Hiro Hamada's crime-fighting team, Fred stands out from his helmeted peers by wearing a colorful kaiju monster outfit. While that's about all I know about Fred, I'm betting this oddball of the bunch will give Baymax a run for laughs in the movie. If nothing else, Fred makes for a great collectible figure in Funko's new Big Hero 6 POP! collection. He's strange and colorful, and whether you're a fan of the film or not, Fred is a very interesting kaiju toy to have on your shelf.

Hitting retail now, this assortment includes two oversized 6" versions of Baymax (but of course!), along with Hiro and the rest of his friends. They are priced at a SRP of $9.99 with the big Baymax's coming in at $14.99.
