DC Collectibles each year presents a unique opportunity for those of us in the press to check out their cool new and upcoming products in a private setting. There we got to see all sorts of cool action figures, statues, and other unique items from the comic books and beyond. This year the collection on display featured Bombshells (Zatanna, Hawkgirl, fan vote Mera, newly shown Lois Lane), Scribblenauts, Wooden Figures (Superman and Batman), Greg Capullo Series 2 figures (Zero Year Batman, Comissioner Gordon, Batgirl, Two-Face), Cover Girls Vixen, Batman The Animated Series Series 3 & 4 (figures to include display bases, episode-accurate accessories, interchangeable hands, and more to go along with their excellent articulation), and new additions to the Batman Black & White, Superman Man of Steel, and Wonder Woman Art of War lines. Action figures included the recently announced Arrow series and the new TV Flash along with Batman Arkham Knight standouts like Batman, the Arkham Knight, Harley, and more.

We even got a photo of DC Collectibles’ Jim Fletcher celebrating Batman’s 75th anniversary!

But that’s not all... there was another table full of cool stuff that we couldn’t photograph, but we can tell you about what we saw! Coming sometime in 2015 are New 52 action figures of Harley Quinn in her current look, the Joker, and Green Lantern John Stewart. Also from the New 52 is a new Designer Series from Jae Lee featuring unique versions of Superman, Batman, Catwoman, and Wonder Woman; John Matthews’ sculpting on these is really top notch. Scribblenauts continue with more waves, and DC Collectibles is committed to bringing you tons of these adorable mini figures. In the statue department we got to see a David Finch Wonder Woman Art of War incarnation which will feature a removable cape, and a hot new Cover Girls Harley Quinn. Finally, and possibly the coolest thing there, was a prop replica of the Mother Box! While it’s still in the prototype phase, this cubic item will have lights and a variety of sounds including the familiar “Ping Ping Ping” and more!

Wouldn't it be Series 3?

Series 2 has Catwoman, Red Hood, Freeze, and Thrasher Armor Batman.

I wish there was some indication somewhere if an item is a statue or an action figure and 7" line or 3.75" (--like for example that Poison Ivy. Is that a figure? Statue? 3.75" line? 7" line? What??)

-- I hate getting all excited and worked up about something only to find out it's not what I collect.
