Titan Merchandise Expands Licensing With CAE...

Titan Merchandise, a leading international licensee of pop culture icons and Captain Action Enterprises, licensors of the popular Captain Action line, announce the launch of Captain Action Cat merchandise, including T-shirts, mugs, I.D. holders and more. These products will be on sale internationally in Q3 2014.
Captain Action Cat, currently appearing in a comic series from Dynamite Entertainment by the award wining team of Art Baltazar, Franco and Chris (Zod) Smits, is an anthropomorphic spin-off of the classic Captain Action character (read our story HERE (https://www.figures.com/forums/news/47171-dynamite-announces-captain-action-cat-timestream-catastrophe-1-a.html)). This version of the recently revived hero is designed for all-ages. Entitled “The Timestream Cat-astrophe”, the innovative series spans the Modern Age, the Silver Age, the Golden Age and even the “Aw Yeah!” Age. The story features Lady Action, creator-owned characters and Dark Horse heroes X, Ghost, Sky-Man, The Occultist and Captain Midnight.
“I love the work that Art, Franco and Chris are doing on Captain Action Cat – it’s the perfect marriage of cool creators putting a cool new spin on a super-cool established property ” said Titan director Andrew Sumner. “Working with the amazing team at Captain Action Enterprises is a great, surprise-filled ride and we love playing our part. I can’t wait to see what they come up with next!”
“We’ve been just thrilled with all the enthusiasm and professionalism that Titan has brought to their line of Captain Action merchandise. We’re even more excited now that they’ve decided to broaden the line with Captain Action Cat T-shirts and more.” said Ed Catto of Captain Action Enterprises.
Current plans call for the first wave to include a Captain Action Cat T-shirt, a coffee mug and an I.D. holder.
