It looks like Respawn forgot to mention an official collectibles license for their upcoming video game, Titanfall (see our story Official TITANFALL Merchandise Announced (https://www.figures.com/forums/news/47761-official-titanfall-merchandise-announced.html). Square Enix surprised Toy Fair attendees with a Titanfall ATLAS Play Arts Kai action figure. While release details are still to be decided, fans of the upcoming mechanized military shooter appear to be in for a real treat.

Another cool surprise were Play Arts Kai action figures from APPLESEED. The future tech anime and manga created by Masamune Shirow will receive figures of the awesome big-gun-toting E-S.W.A.T cyborg Briareos Hecatonchires and his female partner Deunan Knute. Again, release details are to be announce, but exciting news for those that missed out on more expensive (but equally cool) Hot Toys releases from years back.

So, Play Arts Kai? -- That means 9" scale figs, right?

This mecha stuff is awesome. I'd like to get some of these guns to give to some of my space marine figs to give 'em some real firepower!

Yes, Kai is like 9 inches. The Titanfall Atlas looked to be around 10 inches. The guy on top can be removed. However, the human is not an articulated figure and connot be placed inside the mech. The mech will have an opening cockpit though.
