NECA drops some big changes to their third assortment of Pacific Rim action figures. Previously revealed Cherno Alpha (https://www.figures.com/forums/news/41432-necas-pacific-rim-series-3-sneak-peek-cherno-alpha.html) and Coyote Tango (https://www.figures.com/forums/news/41462-necas-pacific-rim-series-3-sneak-peek-coyote-tango.html) remain in the series and are joined by a couple of surprises. Randy Falk, NECA's Head of Product Development explains:

- 2 ALL NEW Jaegers... Cherno Alpha and Coyote Tango make up the Jaeger assortment. Almost 8" tall and loaded w detail and articulation.

- The Kaiju require their own assortment as they are getting bigger and badder and in turn cost a little more. S2 Leatherback gives you an idea...

- We want to stay true to scale as much as possible so a deluxe Kaiju assortment was the way to go. Bigger, more deco, more articulation!!

- Trespasser (pictured top) will be one of the Series 3 Kaiju. In concept stage it was known as Axehead and you still might see that version at a later date (NOTE: Axehead was previously shown HERE (https://www.figures.com/forums/news/41492-necas-pacific-rim-series-3-sneak-peek-axehead.html) and confused as a Series 3 figure).

- The remaining S3 Kaiju is an all new and improved Knifehead w battle damage (pictured below)! Over 50% larger than S1 version!

NECA's Pacific Rim Series 3 - Cherno Alpha, Coyote Tango, Trespasser and Battle Damaged Knifehead - are slated for release in March, 2014.

These look great! I'll be getting them both.

Sucks for people (like me) though who already bought the S1 Knifehead.

Oh well, I'm getting the 18"er too so I guess I'll have the whole Knifehead family, LOL

but lucky for you though is that you don't have to track down a Crimson Typhoon which would easily absorb what extra you paid for that Knifehead. Silver lining and all that :)

Honestly the only thing that held be back from jumping in on this line was how badly out of scale series 1 Knifehead was. Now I'm in trouble.
