"Rebels" Packaging Revealed, 3 3/4" Black Series 2, More...

New York Comic Con kicked off early this year with Hasbro's "'Twas The Night Before" press event party. Star Wars was front and center, treating fans with a first look at the Star Wars Rebels packaging design (pictured above). Hasbro’s Star Wars Rebels line, featuring highly detailed 3.75-inch action figures with multiple points of articulation, is coming to a galaxy near you in 2014.

The Star Wars Black series was another highlight. While the 6 inch assortment was absent, Series 2 of the 3 3/4" Black series was on display. Slated for release in Spring 2014, this wave will star Dagobah Luke Skywalker and Yoda, Darth Vader and an Imperial Snowtrooper, as well as Hoth Rebel Alliance communications officer Toryn Farr (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Toryn_Farr) (yeah, that one threw me for a loop too) and famed Rebel fighter pilot Wedge Antilles.
