BOBA FETT HOLIDAY SPECIAL ANIMATED MAQUETTE (Pictured Above)
Only the truly hardcore Star Wars fans know that the malevolent Mandalorian bounty hunter’s first appearance wasn’t The Empire Strikes Back, but rather the equally infamous Star Wars Holiday Special. The master artisans at Gentle Giant Ltd. have decided to celebrate that first appearance with the latest addition to their Animated Maquette line. Digitally sculpted using footage from the one of the few remaining intact copies of the Special as reference, this piece features a very different look for one of the most iconic film characters of all time. This limited edition hand-painted maquette comes individually numbered and is paired with a matching certificate of authenticity.
Releasing Q2 2014 priced at $139.
YODA HOTH STATUE (Pictured Below)
Inspired by the Adam Hughes’ artwork (which, in turn, was inspired by Gennedy Tartakovsky’s Star Wars: Clone Wars Animated Series), Gentle Giant Ltd. presents a new Yoda statue. Intended to be a companion piece to their upcoming Padme Amidala Statue, this fresh interpretation of the character - a realistic rendering inspired by animation - is dark, dramatic and unique. Digitally sculpted by the master artisans at Gentle Giant and individually hand-painted, each statue comes individually numbered and includes a matching certificate of authenticity. H 5.70” W 4.30” D 4.45”
Releasing Q2 2014 priced at $115.
