Toynami greeted Comic-Con attendees with a giant Egyptian-like robot announcing the return of the Shogun Warriors. Actually, "return" is the wrong word, as Toynami's Shogun Warriors introduces all-new robots and an entirely new concept to the super robot series. That's the basic premise, but it's much more indepth and exciting than that. To fully immerse fans in the new Shogun Warriors experience, Toynami is going all out with a new comic series planned (a preview copy was available for free at Comic-Con), future animated series, mobile apps, and of course toys, including die-cast and jumbo action figures. On display at Toynami's booth was a teaser of what collectors can look forward to; Shogun Warriors designs for Greek, Mayan and Egypt shown. The latter amazed with a full action figure prototype, the Egyptian robot named Pyramis Ra. Toynami isn't ready to announce a firm launch date yet, their Shogun Warriors Comic-Con display a soft tease to get fans excited, but you can be sure that the future looks very promising.
