Taking advantage of the film’s broad appeal, Guillermo del Toro’s new sci-fi action adventure PACIFIC RIM will hit screens starting at 7:00 PM today on Thursday, July 11, 2013. The announcement was made today by Dan Fellman, President Domestic Distribution, Warner Bros. Pictures. The earlier evening release comes on the heels of critical praise, as well as extremely positive audience reactions coming out of advance screenings. Fellman stated, “‘Pacific Rim’ is getting high marks from audiences of all ages. The film’s blend of action and adventure, humor, human drama, and, of course, epic battles between giant monsters and robots, makes this a terrific treat for the entire family. Guillermo del Toro has truly created something for everyone.”
