For those that have been following the blitzkrieg of San Diego Comic-Con exclusive reveals (https://www.figures.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=5802) of late, you may have noticed that one company has strangely been absent: Sideshow Collectibles. A fan recently posed the question - is it true there are no SDCC exclusives this year? - on Sideshow's Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/sideshowcollectibles?fref=ts) page and received the following response:


It is true, we want to try something new this year. In lieu of SDCC exclusives we're planning to do more exclusive releases throughout the summer.

So it appears fans will still be getting exclusives... just not at Comic-Con. This a good thing? Bad? Let us know...
