Third Time's A Charm...

To insure your action figure collection, get in touch with Collectibles Insurance (http://www.collectinsure.com/), the official insurance company of the Figures.com network. Say "Figures.com" to get 5% off your first term premiums.

To buy action figures, take a look at BigBadToyStore.com (http://www.bigbadtoystore.com), PlasmaInfusion.com (http://plasmainfusion.com/), Toynk.com (http://www.toynk.com/), BriansToys.com (http://www.brianstoys.com), ToyWiz.com (http://www.toywiz.com), and MonkeyDepot.com (http://www.monkeydepot.com/).

Collectors may recall that earlier this year, a Kickstarter was launched in support of a new action figure line from toy company startup Nevermore (see our story HERE (https://www.figures.com/forums/news/22592-nevermore-legendary-monsters-kickstarter.html)). The line, called Legendary Monsters, starred 5" - 7" articulated figures based on monsters of urban legend and folklore. While close in reaching it's goal, the project unfortunately failed to be fully funded. With newfound support, a second Kickstarter attempt was made with some changes made, including some exciting new figure colorway incentives. Alas, it was strike two.

As the old saying goes, the third time is a charm. Nevermore once again fine-tuned the Legendary Monsters project, this time by adding a game element in the form of collectible cards that allow the creatures to fight on another. The action figures, however, had not changed. The new formula found broader appeal with not only action figure collectors, but gamers as well. This time, Legendary Monsters has reached it's goal... with 16 days left to go! The good news in this is if you donate to the project now, you're guaranteed to get an action figure. It also means that Nevermore will be expanding the project with the excess funds to include new figures. They have already started sculpting the next figure to be in included in the Legendary Monster line... Slenderman (concept art pictured below).
