Day One Report...

Of course the biggest news of the day today was, actually somewhat of a lack of news, as it was revealed that there were not yet any new G.I. Joe toy items in the Hasbro display booth. The Wave 2 Kre-O single packs are in there as well as the two latest build sets, but there does not appear to be any other new items.
Now, in years past, Hasbro has held off on putting new items out until after their presentation, so there is potentially still some to come, but word from the sales floor seems to indicate that we may not see anything new this weekend in person.
While that might drive many folks to begin screaming "deth of teh line!11" I think having a $130M + movie production actively in theaters is an indication we should not be looking for our shovels and gravestones just yet.
The Hasbro Seminar will be this morning at 11:00am, and you can believe many questions will be asked and hopefully addressed there.
