ALIEN (Action Figure) Resurrection...

WonderCon Anaheim 2013 kicked off yesterday (March 29) and San Francisco based designer toy and apparel company - Super7 (Super7Store.com) - was on hand showing off their awesome ALIEN license. Announced at San Diego Comic-Con last year (see HERE (https://www.figures.com/forums/news/16039-sdcc12-lost-alien-figures-resurrected-super7.html)), Super7's ALIEN license includes drinkware and action figures based on the classic 1979 sci-fi film. The former will receive a series of vintage “Fast Food” glasses inspired by the film, the back of each glass depicting the four-part lifecycle of the Xenomorph. The 5 ¾” tall 16 ounce pint glasses include:

These will be available later this spring priced at $49.99 per box set of four.

Most exciting is Super7's series of 3 ¾ inch ALIEN action figures. Faithfully based on the actual 1979 prototypes that never saw production, Super7's "new" figure series retains the vintage looks, articulation, accessories, and, best of all, packaging of the originally planned toys. The series consists of what would have been the entire first wave:
* THE ALIEN ("BIG CHAP") - w/ removable transparent dome, extendable jaws and glowing brain!
* RIPLEY - w/ Flame Thrower
* ASH - w/ Motion Detector
* DALLAS (not on display) - w/ Flame Thrower
* KANE IN NOSTROMO SPACESUIT - w/ removable helmet and transparent visor
These are due out this summer priced at a SRP of $19.99 each.
