While there are a ton of cool games out there, it’s rare that a company really creates something new, but that’s exactly what Nord Games has managed to do. On display at GAMA 2013 was the result of their recent successful Kickstarter venture for Worra Realms. A new take on the role-playing game, Realms uses cards to build characters and decks to build and use their special abilities. Side by side you can also use maps and miniatures, but they’re optional in this game. Further, the terrain, encounters, treasure, and monsters are also randomized via card decks, ensuring that everytime you play you’ll have a different memorable adventure. The game looks like a lot of fun, and while it’s too late to get in on the Kickstarter, Nord Games will be selling it to the public starting next month. For more information check out worracards.com.
