Blind Mouse Toys, a new company based out of Adelaide, Australia, launch their company with the very first release from their 'Cosplay Penguin' line - Judge Dredd. Under license from Rebellion and 2000AD, Cosplay Penguin Judge Dredd was sculpted and painted by Joe Amaro with box art (below) by Eamon O'Donoghue. Standing 4.5 inches tall, Dredd features his trademark helmet (non removable, just like the comics) and his Lawgiver pistol (this is removable).
Cosplay Penguin Judge Dredd is being sold exclusively through their website - blindmousetoys.com - priced at $40 and scheduled to ship this June. The first 1000 orders will receive a frameable copy of Eamon's art.
As a company, Blind Mouse Toys hold the licenses to the 2000AD catelogue of characters, Stargate SG1, Thunderbirds and from Warners; Watchmen, Wizard of Oz, Harry Potter, Scooby Doo and Looney Tunes. For their Penguin line they also have access to the DC Superheroes, so keep an eye out for not only the Cosplay Penguin line of figures but some awesome 1:9 scale statues from the other licenses, and your favorite characters coming soon.
