Gentle Giant reveals that their next Jumbo Kenner Star Wars figure will be the deadly assassin droid, IG-88. Digitally scanned from mint 3 3/4” Kenner originals and reproduced to a substantial 12” tall, IG-88 is fully articulated and includes his faithfully reproduced blasters, just like the original. This classic Kenner creation also comes packaged on a 1980 Empire Strikes Back-inspired blister card, featuring original front and “45 back” artwork, in a re-sealable plastic outer clam shell to help protect and display.
IG-88 is scheduled to ship 3rd quarter 2013 priced at $80. IG-88 joins other recently announced Jumbo Bounty Hunters, including Bossk (3rd Quarter) and Rocket Firing Boba Fett (out this month!).
