Hi-end collectible maker Pop Culture Shock Collectibles announced today it is moving to a Direct To Collector business model starting immediately.
"I started PSCS in 2008 as a fan who just wanted to make statues for other collectors like myself," stated Jerry Macaluso, President and Founder of Pop Culture Shock Collectibles. "It makes me incredibly proud to say that our fans & followers have now made a direct sales program feasible. That means 10-20% lower prices, giving fans even more input into our selections, and being able to offer exciting variants and smaller-run specials.”
“This is going to be our busiest year yet and I’m happy we can kick it out with this DTC initiative.” Macaluso added, “I’m looking forward to revealing all the great items we have planned for 2013.”
January will see the first of two direct offerings up for Pre-Order; 1:4th Scale Shao Kahn from Mortal Kombat and a Street Fighter Diorama featuring fan favorites Akuma & Gouken. The Pop Culture Shock Collectibles website (popcultureshocktoys.com) will be the ONLY avenue to acquire these items.
