This past weekend's Power-Con, an event dedicated to everything Masters of the Universe, held a few surprises for fans. While most of the reveals had already been announced at San Diego Comic-Con's Mattypalooza (read our report HERE (https://www.figures.com/forums/news/16058-sdcc12-mattypalooza-wrap-up.html)), Mattel did shock Power-Con attendees with news that a Castle Grayskull is in the works. This fan-requested playset will be available for pre-order this fall with a price tag of around $200. If the minimum pre-order number is met, collectors can expect to have this in their collection next fall, 2013. Unfortunately, the design work on this project is huge and Mattel does not have the resources to build a "looks like model". This basically means no Grayskull prototype for fans to see before they order. However, full details and a B-sheet (design drawings) on this environment will be revealed at New York Comic-Con next month. While it's disappointing not to be able to see the final product (or even a prototype) before committing to a purchase, passionate MOTU fans should have no problem placing an order on this much requested item.

In other Power-Con MOTUC news, more 2013 figures were revealed. Picking up where Mattel left off at Mattypalooza, April 2013 will see the release of Snake Face, Karatii in May, Octavia in June, and Frosta in October.
