Figures Toy Company continues their retro rock 'n roll collection of 8-inch and 12-inch KISS action figures with a second assortment. Where the first series featured the legendary group as they appeared on 1979's "Love Gun" album (see our story HERE (https://www.figures.com/forums/news/14826-new-8-12-inch-kiss-action-figures.html)), KISS Series 2 captures their iconic appearances from their 1974 self-titled record "KISS".

This fall, KISS fans will be able to collect Starchild (Stanley), The Demon (Simmons), Spaceman (Frehley) and Catman (Criss) in two collectible sizes: 12-inch and a never-before-produced 8-inch scale.
Figures Toy Company CFO Anthony Balasco states, "I never understood why 8 inch KISS action figures were not produced back in the 1970's when The Mego Toy Company had already released the 12 inch versions. Our second release will have the retro look from the 1970's but updated with more detailed costumes. Future releases will cover all time periods in KISS's 40 year musical career from 1972 to 2012".
In addition, collectors will be treated to 8 and 12-inch variants of The Demon and Starchild. Look for a Demon “Hotter Than Hell” and Starchild with “Bandit Makeup” exclusives and limited edition releases (both pictured below). Collectors will be able to find KISS Series 2 at toy stores, comic shops, music stores and on-line retailers starting in Late October 2012.
