One of the more unique collectibles booths at San Diego Comic-Con was definitely Novo Geek (TheNovoGeek.com). A diamond in the rough found in the low numbers, Novo Geek brought some really interesting products from flagship licenses Battlestar Galactica and Star Trek The Original Series.
From BSG they offered cufflinks, a Triad card game, notepad and journals in the familiar “cut corners” shape from the show, uniform patches, medals, tank tops, cubit sets, BSG flad lapel pins, and more. The coolest thing was definitely the Battlestar Galactica scaled replica USB “jump” drive, a 4GB functional drive hidden inside a 4 ½ inch spaceship!
On the Trek side Novo Geek had starfleet division patches and neckties in the three classic colors (red, blue, and yellow). On hand were regular ties and exclusive “phaser” versions with holes blasted in them!
