The big draw to Tonner's San Diego Comic-Con booth this year was Rick "Zombie Boy" Genest, the heavily tattooed celebrity who came into larger global awareness when Lady Gaga featured him in her "Born This Way" music video. Zombie Boy was on hand for two signings last Friday and Tonner was accepting orders for their Comic-Con Exclusive 17" Zombie Boy Tonner Doll. The intricately detailed figure is limited to just 500 pieces and retailed for $150 at the show. The exclusive figure will be available for those that could not attend Comic-Con on Tonner's website (http://www.tonnerdoll.com/zombie-boy) Thursday, 7.26. It will be priced at $159.99 and as an extra bonus, will include a Certificate of Authenticity autographed by Rick Genest himself.

Other highlights at the Tonner booth were new DC Stars. These included a Steampunk version of Wonder Woman, 16" Amazonia Wonder Woman, and a towering 22" tall Batgirl. Tonner's steampunk theme went beyond DC Stars and into a new in-house series called Wilde Imagination Steampunk – Imperium Park. Other noteworthy items included a new series of 8-inch Alice in Wonderland figures (Alice, Mad Hatter and Dormouse) and a lovely Marilyn Monroe "Animal Magnetism" doll. Check all these figures out and more at the photo gallery link below.
