Before Comic-Con started, Icon Heroes broke the news that they had acquired the license for He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. Sold at the show through online retailer Action Figure Xpress wer their first two MOTU offerings: a Power Sword Letter Opener ($20) and Castle Grayskull Business Card Holder ($35). The sword proved very popular, Icon Heroes almost anticipating its success by showing off multiple colorways (see HERE (https://www.figures.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=8801&title=icon-heroes&cat=748)). An Icon Heroes rep wasn't available at the show, but someone from AFX informed me that the colored swords were displayed to gauge fan interest. I say bring 'em on!

Another new item on display was a Castle Grayskull Statue (pictured above). Similiar to what Icon Heroes has done for ThunderCats with "Cat's Lair," the resin piece will be a scaled environment, showing off the iconic structure from all sides. Check it out, as well as other items on display in our SDCC12 photo gallery HERE (https://www.figures.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=748).
