With the long-awaited release of the Lord of The Rings prequel coming to theaters this December, fans have been anxiously awaiting the official reveal of the upcoming 3 3/4" and 6" Hobbit action figures and now the wait is finally over. The Bridge Direct had most of their upcoming Hobbit toy line on display at the San Diego Comic-Con this week. Their product line will consist of role-play items and a collector-based line of action figures in 3 3/4" and 6" scale.

On display were three of the upcoming 6" collector figures Thorin Oakenshield, Gandalf the Grey and Bilbo Baggins. An exclusive invisible Bilbo figure was on sale at the Gentle Giant booth and is the first action figure from the Hobbit An Unexpected Journey toy line set to release in the 4th quarter.

This new Lord of the Rings toy line will feature all the good from the original Toy Biz line minus the annoying play features resulting in a great line of figures aimed towards adult collectors.
