First 4 Figures presents Modern Sonic, kicking off a new line of Modern Sonic the Hedgehog Collectibles. Sonic is depicted flying across the beautiful ocean scenery of Emerald Coast on his way to the encounter with the giant Orca. He is crouched over and comes to an impressive 15 inches tall.

Two versions are being offered of the Modern Sonic statue, a regular edition (pictured above - SRP $199.99, 1,650 pieces) and an exclusive with a light-up base (pictured below - SRP $219.99, 750 pieces). The exclusive's base has a slow pulsing blue base that represents the movement water in Emerald Coast and also has flashing yellow sparks that recreate the speed and movement that expect from the Blue Blur. The lights slowly fade away after you turn them off.

Both Modern Sonic statues are scheduled to ship 4th quarter 2012.
