Toy Vault, game designer Richard Borg (Memoir ’44, Battle Cry), and artist Chris Quilliams are ready to take gamers on a thrill-a-minute conquest through the perilous depths of the cosmos in ABADDON, a new space-age mech-fighting board game releasing April 30th.

In the remote future, mankind has taken a multi-galactic leap through space. Life as we know it struggles to endure in the region known as the ABADDON. Once the home of a mysterious, non-human civilization, the ABADDON is now a post-apocalyptic wasteland bearing one immeasurably-prized resource: Feronium power crystals. The near-infinite energy contained within the crystals is greatly coveted and viciously warred over by two groups of humans: the Satellite City-States and the Commonwealth Alliance. Using Links - gigantic bio-mech suits made (via alien technology) from modified military vehicles - the rivaling factions fight a bitter battle for territorial control of the ABADDON.

ABADDON comes in a 12.5” by 12.5” by 4” box that holds over 5 lbs. of mechanical warfare, including a massive 28” x 19” battlefield game board with 18 free-standing landscape terrain features, 32 highly-detailed mech figurines (of 4 different styles), over 100 game-altering Weapon System and Wild Fire cards, dozens of tokens, battle dice, and a Battle Manual, all for the recommended sales price of $79.99.

With a complexity level comparable to “Risk” and “Memoir ’44”, ABADDON will keep fans engaged through over 15 mission scenarios (each lasting, on average, 30 to 90 minutes). PLUS, additional missions can be downloaded for free from ToyVault.com.
