One of the biggest surprise reveals at this year's Toy Fair was Square Enix's new series of Mass Effect 3 Play Arts Kai action figures (see our story HERE (https://www.figures.com/forums/news/14965-tf12-mass-effect-3-play-arts-kai.html)). While shown as early unpainted prototypes then, Square Enix now shares with fans new fully painted photos of the Normandy crew: Commander Shepard, Ashley Williams and Garrus. These are expected to ship in Japan this August, so around fall for U.S. collectors.

Yeah, that omni-blade is pretty darn cool.

Oh hell, I might as well just get my wages paid direct to Play Arts Kai.
I want all 3 but especially Garrus.
I hope they do well and we get a Tali, Liara and Vega

Good question. If I recall correctly from seeing the prototypes at Toy Fair, they were closer to the normal 9" scale.

I placed a pre-order on all three of them today. I'm not that interested in the male-Shepard, but I'm hoping they do well enough for Play Arts to do a fem-Shep down the road (hence supporting them with my cash).

Hated the way the ME-series ended, but still love the characters enough to pay big money for them! :)

I hope we get fem-Shep, Thane, Mordin, Tali, Legion, Grunt, Wrex, Samara, Liara and Vega in the future aswell. Though I'd propably buy whomever they produce from the series (I might draw the line on Councilor Udina).

It was a rubbish ending, was really surprised when Casey Hudson said they were going for bitter sweet, because it came across as bloody depressing. but i still love Mass Effect and caanot get enough of it.

I really hope we get Thane, Jack, Grunt and Samara in upcoming waves. Thane would look great in Play Arts!
