To insure your action figure collection, get in touch with Collectibles Insurance (http://www.collectinsure.com/), the official insurance company of the Figures.com network. Say "Figures.com" to get 5% off your first term premiums.
To buy action figures, take a look at BigBadToyStore.com (http://www.bigbadtoystore.com), RedfordFilms.com (http://www.redfordfilms.com/), PastGenerationToys.com (http://www.pastgenerationtoys.com), BriansToys.com (http://www.brianstoys.com), ToyWiz.com (http://www.toywiz.com), SmallJoes.com (http://smalljoes.com), MonkeyDepot.com (http://www.monkeydepot.com/), and Urban-Collector.com (http://www.urban-collector.com).
Last year marked the 10th anniversary for Halo: Combat Evolved, the first game in Bungie's popular sci-fi shooter series. Along for the ride was Joyride, the first company to produce action figures for the title. While simplistic in design compared to modern day standards, the toy line was quite popular with fans, Joyride taking the series deep by releasing every conceivable character. Multiple color variants were added as exclusives to keep things interesting.
2012 sees the next exciting installment with Halo 4 and McFarlane Toys will along for that ride (see our story HERE (https://www.figures.com/forums/news/14771-halo-4-action-figures-announced.html)). Check out the recently released "making of" video for Halo 4 below.
