To insure your action figure collection, get in touch with Collectibles Insurance (http://www.collectinsure.com/), the official insurance company of the Figures.com network. Say "Figures.com" to get 5% off your first term premiums.

To buy action figures, take a look at BigBadToyStore.com (http://www.bigbadtoystore.com), RedfordFilms.com (http://www.redfordfilms.com/), PastGenerationToys.com (http://www.pastgenerationtoys.com), BriansToys.com (http://www.brianstoys.com), ToyWiz.com (http://www.toywiz.com), SmallJoes.com (http://smalljoes.com), MonkeyDepot.com (http://www.monkeydepot.com/), and Urban-Collector.com (http://www.urban-collector.com).

Sadly, no new World of WarCraft action figures were shown at Toy Fair. DC Direct informed us that after the current wave (Series 8 figures and Premium Series 4) the line will come to an end. Launched way back in 2007, the WoW figure line had a solid run. However, fans can only cross their fingers that the license will continue in the hands of another company.

Another Blizzard license, - StarCraft - is ending almost as soon as it began. Out now is Series 1's Jim Raynor and Zeratul, with Series 2's Tychus Findlay and Kerrigan due out this March. Exciting news to this reporter was that Terran Space Marine Findlay will be a full-blown action figure, unlike the dynamic statue approach with the rest of the line. Lock those pre-orders in, he's sure to be a quick seller.

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaattt?! :mad::mad::mad:

Grrrr, not happy about this. I was loving the Warcraft line (in spite of them being mostly statues)

And why cancel the Starcraft line before it even gets going? This is exactly the same thing that happened with Toycom's line back a decade ago.

And I was hoping they'd get around to doing Diablo figures too. Man this really sucks. :(

Oh well, maybe more people will quit collecting the line and unload their stuff now so that'll bring down prices for me to pick up some I missed plus extras.

Then again, knowing the way some scumbag ebay sellers think they'll probably double the prices now that they're "rare and no longer being made" :rolleyes: LOL

Curious to see if Big Fish is going to pick up this license too, just like they did with with the Mass Effects license.

If not, at least we had a great run of high quality figures.

Nothing new to report on Arkham City beyond Series 3 and the new deluxe figures (freeze, etc) - which takes us all the way into late 2012.
