Thursday November 17th sees the opening of Blamo Toy's Third Annual Custom Group Show, "The Epic Adventures of Swampy McSwamperton".
As with previous years, 30 select artists were given a wooden Blamo DIY figure to work on. From detailed re-configurations of shape and form to simple but stylized paint applications these 30 custom "Swampys" represent a diverse cross section of toy makers, fashion designers, traditional, and mixed media artists.
If you live in or near San Francisco the show's opening will be held tonight (11/17/11) from 6-11pm at Million Fishes Galley (2501 Bryant St at 23rd).
