You'll note the year 1997 above, the year this Card Back was acquired. In truth, Silly Putty was invented way back in 1943. Now owned by Crayola (Binney and Smith at the time), it wasn't until 2001 that the popular rubbery "toy" was inducted into the National Toy Hall of Fame. Silly Putty isn't exactly collector friendly, but anyone into toys should play with the tacky fun substance at least once in their lives.
