I almost wish they didn't even show the paint masters for these. I'd easily pay an extra ten bucks on these to have them painted half as well as the paint masters. I always end up doing extensive touch up on them when I get them. The sculpts are so mindblowing, its a shame their paint is so all over the place. For like, two years there NECA was really killing it on the paint as well as their already perfect sculpts, but this year its been way too easy to skip releases simply because I couldn't find one on the racks that had decent or even consistent paint apps. I had to re buy 3 figures (masked classic, robocop and mauler boomer) because I ended up finding ones later that were just so much better painted than the ones I had already bought. I don't know what happened, they were REALLY improving on consistent paint and now they're back to the mid 2000's again when their paint was a lot messier.

I'll still be grabbing all these Preds though.

Oh man oh man, I cannot wait for these!!!

I am loving this line so much.

Yeah I had to dig through about 3 figs last time before I found a Pred Elder with eyes that were painted properly, but these sculpts are just so killer and the articulation (now that with the most recent wave they seem to have solved the previous stiff joints problem) is also top-notch.

So if it involves a little looking or even a bit of paint touch-up myself I still don't mind cuz the figs themselves are just so outstanding.

I say BRING 'EM ON!!

(and I hope they'll do unmasked versions of ALL the tribe cuz those are my faves)
