Based on her appearance in the 2011 live-action film Green Lantern, Carol Ferris is brought to toy form as part of the Barbie Collector doll line. The character Carol Ferris was a childhood friend and lover interest for Hal Jordan and often flew as a wingman in test runs. An experienced pilot, she went on to become the CEO of Ferris Aircraft when her father took ill. In the comics she was chosen to become a Star Sapphire by the Zamarons and under the influence of evil fought the Green Lantern on many occasions.

The doll is packed in a clear display box offering a full view from multiple angles of the doll inside. The packaging is sealed so the only way you are getting to Carol is by cutting through the plastic. The back of the packaging features the green starburst and lantern behind the doll, while the very back of the package has a bio of Carol and an image of her from the movie.

The doll itself is your typical Barbie doll with articulation in the arms, legs, and neck with rooted hair, but this one features a fantastic likeness of actress Blake Lively, from the shape of her chin, nose and eyebrows, to the beauty mark under her eye. The outfit fits extremely well and consists of a zip-up flight suit and undershirt with boots and a wearable helmet. Her flight suit features a transfer of wings and her name “embroidered” on her right breast. The helmet goes on and off easily and features her call sign “Sapphire”, alluding to the fact that she eventually becomes “Star Sapphire”. In addition, she also includes a clear stand for display outside her packaging.

Green Lantern fans are sure to enjoy this great doll of Carol Ferris, which also happens to be the only figure produced of the character from the movie line. While the doll sold-out shortly after Comic-Con, its available at multiple online retailers, including many of our sponsors.
