Before the breakout success of their licensed Domo Qees, Toy2R experimented with the hit animated series The Simpsons. Launching with 'toon bad boy Bart, the series featured a variety of 3" figures, each Qee featuring different outfits and even unique artist takes on the character. Homer Simpson followed about a year later, but the line never really picked up momentum with collectors. I'm not sure if it was because of the format, a decline of interst in the show or a mixture of the two. Regardless of their moderate success, The Simpsons Qees were well executed and opened the door wider for Toy2R's U.S. invasion.
