The 2011 Canadian 80's Toy Expo is coming this Sunday, July 31st, at the Delta Meadowvale Resort and Conference Centre in Mississauga, Ontario.
The show, which boasts free parking, will feature a large dealer room for 80's releated merchandise. The show will also star Q&A panels, autograph sessions, a costume contest and many special guests. Some of the latter include:
- GARRY CHALK: The voice talent of many classic cartoon charaters including Transformer's Optimus Primal and Optimus Prime, as well as Gristle, Metal-Head, Pathfinder, Shockwave, Cesspool, BIOK from G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero.
- SIMON FURMAN: The author of many great comics including of Marvel's Transformers series, the Transformers: The Ultimate Guide and the first five Generation 1 mini-series for IDW. Mr. Furman will be taking part in a Q&A panel and autograph sessions for the first time ever in Canada.
- PAUL EIDING: The voice actor behind Perceptor in the original Transformers cartoon, Grandpa Max Tennyson in Ben 10, and more.
- SMITH HART: Former professional wrestler and brother of Bret "The Hitman" Hart
- 501st CANADIAN GARRISON: Bring your camera for photo ops with Darth Vader, Boba Fett, Stormtroopers and more!
- ONTARIO GHOSTBUSTERS: More photo opportunities with Ghostbusters replica costumed fans!
