Playmates Toys' new Family Guy toy line has collectors in a buzz over their upcoming release this fall. The new action figure line incorporates the same sound chip technology that was utilized on their highly successful Simpsons figures giving each of your favorite Family Guy characters their very own voice.

This awesome new action figure line will kick off with the release of with the release of the Family Guy Crazy Interactive Griffin Family Living Room play set which includes an exclusive Lois action figure. This will be the first of several interactive environments Playmates has planned to release and will interact with each individual Family Guy figure when placed on any of its two magnetic ports. Just as with Playmates' Simpsons toy line, each figure will feature a unique sound chip which actives a series of distinctive phrases when placed on the "Crazy Interactive" environments.

The first series of Family Guy action figures, hitting retail late August, 2011, will consist of:
- Peter Griffin with beer mug and stein
- Quagmire with Martini glass
- Brian with coffee mug and doggy treat
- Stewie with Teddy and Sippy cup
- Cleveland with beer mug
- Halloween Stewie with pumpkin carrier full of candy
The back of the package features a sneak peek at some upcoming figures consisting of Death, Chris, Meg and Tuxedo Brian.

The new figures will feature ball-socket shoulders, heads, swivel waists and swivel wrists. Each character accessory can be easily placed in the figure's hands with the exception of Stewie due to his smaller size. Each blister-carded action figure is finely sculpted with character–accurate outfits and feature great paint applications.
